Our History
Chemical Injection Technologies, Inc. (CIT) was founded in 1991 by Howard Specker, a seasoned expert in the water treatment industry. With a vision to revolutionize gas chlorination technology, he developed the SUPERIOR™ Gas Chlorinator, introducing advanced materials and a streamlined design that set new industry benchmarks. Prior to establishing CIT, Specker had extensive experience in chemical feed systems, which gave him the insight to create a more efficient and user-friendly chlorinator. From its inception, CIT has been dedicated to innovation, safety, and reliability, ensuring that its products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. The company quickly gained recognition for its commitment to excellence and became a trusted name in water and wastewater treatment solutions. Over the years, CIT expanded its product line to accommodate a wide range of applications, offering feed rates up to 10,000 PPD (200 kg/hr) to serve municipalities, industrial facilities, and government agencies. In its pursuit of quality, CIT became the first in the industry to achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification, solidifying its reputation for stringent quality management. The company's focus on customer satisfaction and technological advancements has allowed it to build a strong global presence, working with distributors and industry leaders worldwide. Today, CIT remains at the forefront of chemical feeding technology, continuously refining its products to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability. Howard Specker
Company founder, President/CEO, and designer of the SUPERIOR Gas Chlorinator.
Company founder, President/CEO, and designer of the SUPERIOR Gas Chlorinator. Howard has been in the Gas Chlorinator industry for over 50 years, the longest currently active career in the business. Howard is the industry's leader in knowledge, design, and the science behind the solution. True. Even the "experts" ask for Howard.
JONATHAN SPECKER
Chief Operating Officer
Jon is our Chief Operating Officer and is the third member of our 20+ year club, having joined CIT in January 1997. Jon assisted Bob Fraum in sales for many years, taking over as US sales manager until he transitioned to production and operations manager. He has a wealth of practical as well as technical knowledge of gas chlorination products and the marketplace. Jon was appointed as COO in 2015 to take over all of the day-to-day operations of the company.
BRIAN O'LOUGHLIN
International Sales Manager
Brian is our International Sales Manager and Government Contract Procurement Specialist and travels the world to expand our distributor network and world presence. Brian has just visited his 43rd country! Brian has extensive experience in business, marketing, plus team training and sales. Brian gets to know each member of the CIT team of distributors and provides quotes, project support, unmatched encouragement and positive energy. Please feel free to contact Brian with any questions or feedback. When Brian is not working he loves spending time with his family, working out, doing yoga, and playing golf.
ALONZO UBILLA
Engineer
Alonzo is our “double threat” engineer, with degrees in Mechanical as well as Electrical Engineering. He is a wizard with the Solid Works Cad design program and has upgraded all of our engineering drawings and customer application drawings to state-of-the-art 3D capable, with photo-quality 3D renderings of all of our products. Alonzo is working closely with Howard on a number of future SUPERIOR projects. Brilliant.
CHUCK SCHILLING
Accounting & Finance
Chuck manages our accounting and finance operations and oversees order processing, payables and receivables for CIT. Chuck has worked all over the world in accounting and financial management/analysis with both large and small companies and has consulted for the Small Business Development Center and even as an advisor for H&R Block. Chuck also has a great deal of experience with government and international contracts and projects. After 9 years active duty in the US Army, Chuck went on to work with Air Products & Chemicals in US and in Asia. Always ready with positive suggestions and his best way, can do spirit, know Chuck's goals are efficiency and productivity growth in the process of product realization.
ROBERT “BOB” FRAUM
Vice President / Sales
Bob has overseen CIT’s sales efforts for over 25 years and has been in the gas chlorination industry for over 30. He has traveled all over the World, visiting distributors, conducting sales, safety and technical training seminars, and is currently focusing on our US distribution. Bob is our “go to” guy for all things Sales, plus Bob has a real gift in solution finding.

GREGORY “GREG” BOWLING
National Sales Manager
Greg is the newest member of the CIT team. Originally from Alabama, Greg says he transplanted to “Paradise” (Florida) in 2014. With 28 years of industrial and manufacturing sales, marketing, and business management experience, Greg has been known for value innovation, quality, and excellent customer service. Greg is totally excited to be part of the CIT/SUPERIOR family.

DAVID DUNLAP
Operational Manager
David is our Operations Manager, in charge of production and technical service. David is a lifelong learner and teacher and has years of experience with developing, building, and repairing technology, electronics, and instrumentation. David easily finds solutions for CIT and our customers. David is magic with Tech Support and Product Realization.

CHRISTINE RIESS
Purchasing Lead
Christine is our Purchasing Lead, connecting with suppliers and vendors to maintain inventory and our best in the industry lead times. Already having increased CIT supplier and vendor expectations, Christine is detail oriented and quality driven and brings her experience in purchasing and payables in the biomedical devices industry, as well as with boat manufacturing. Impressive.
